Molly's Star

Halo’d face,
By an eternal summer sun,
Sweet the smile,
Happy doe eyed child of God,
Thick brown hair, skin unblemished, so unfair,
A perfect smile, frozen forever,

A youthful flower yet to fully bloom,
Bright, fragrant pedals, emerging,
Moist, hazy veiled morning,
Glistened at the tips,
And a single due drips, as if a forever falling star,
A translucent sparkle wink,
Frozen in mid youth-time,
Her liquid star is perfect, pristine - pure,
Cleansed through the spirit pool,
For now she watches from afar,

A friendship, a best-friend-sister,
A mother’s sorrow, embraced by unconditional love,
Wonderment, bewilderment - why,
Why? A silent answer ...
That we cannot quite grasp,
Asking, begging the breathless air,

But pray deep within the dark night,
Cloaked by the silvery moon,
Weep for the fragile flower,
Weep, hearing the tragic whippoorwill’s song,
But her forever nights are not amethyst black,
For she hides near a life stream, under a Weeping Willow,
With gentle branches protecting her, shading her from harm,
For she sleeps during the daylight, then, she blazes the night,
As if a forever fire flying happy heart spirit,

And a bell tolls, once, for good night loved one,
Then a pure white light, emerges, a shadow cast,
Cloaked in innocent lace, content next to the Master,
Though too soon, we question pure wisdom, but,
Arms outstretched, for a hug awaits - Mother, Father, Sister,
BFF, best friends forever, and ever,

She patiently waits, but, she is not gone,
She is still here, stand still, sense her,
She is razor thin near,
She breathes to awaken your neck hair,
She blows a kiss to let you know she is near,
Then, close your eyes, you can see her anytime,
Day or night, any afternoon bathed in a warm sun,
Just gaze into your own heavens heart,
Not up at a lonely sparkle star,
But seek the light traveling from across time,
For her candle light smiles at you, her halo bathes around you,
And there she is,
Hugging you ... from within your minds eye,

Halo’d face, by a constant white-hot,
Happy, doe eyed child with God,
Within your heart’s affection, She smiles,
Brighter than any eternal summer sun,

For Molly’s Star burns …
Showered within eternal celestial love.
